Our Programmes

Sarah’s Programmes provide a variety of organised activities, special guests and trips to exciting places. Creation Stations provide ongoing opportunities for supported, self-directed creativity, such as wood-work, construction, multimedia art, design, sewing and crafting, science, performance, dance, drama and music.

We want Sarah’s to be a home away from home for your children and for them to feel that our place is their place. We want them to choose to spend their out of school time with us.

Sarah’s VALUES

Our programmes are governed by 8 core values.

  • Well-being – Mana Atua
  • Relationships – Ngā Hononga
  • Family and Community – Whānaungatanga
  • Communication – Mana Reo
  • Holistic Development – Kotahitanga
  • Belonging – Mana Whenua
  • Integrity – Ngākau Tapatahi
  • Creativity and Innovation – Auahatanga

Values originally from:

“Te Whāriki: He Whāriki Mātauranga mō ngā Mokopuna o Aotearoa: Early Childhood Curriculum”

Published by the New Zealand Ministry of Education 1996. With these principles, we can offer a truly child-centred environment that will encourage and support your child and provide a relationship with families that is straightforward, stress-free and family-focussed.
